Summary This guide will provide instructions on how to make the cylinder vase table display shown in the picture.

Instructions:

1
Here I will provide instructions on how to produce the cylinder vase table display shown in the picture. In this display I have used a 40cm round mirror plate, three sizes of cylinder vase, water pearls, floralytes, foam flowers, artificial rose petals and an ivy garland.
2
If you have purchase the dried water pearls, we will need to make these first. They will take around 8 hours to fully expand. In this display I have used the clear pearls. The easiest way to produce the water pearls is in a large container or bucket. It is important to make sure that the container that you make them in is completely clean, to prevent the pearls picking up residue, which can lead to them changing colour. For each gram of dried product you will need approximately 100ml of water. Measure out the required quantities of dried pearls and water into a container. To start with it will look like you have too much water, but this is ok, as over time the pearls will absorb the water as they expand. I recommend stirring the pearls every few hours. After around 8 hours you can drain off any excess water, to leave the finished pearls in your container.

Now we can start to build the display. Firstly wash the three cylinder vases to clear off any residue that may be left from the packaging. In my display I have used a 50cm x10cm cylinder vase, 40cm x 10cm cylinder vase and a 30cm x 10cm cylinder vase. The sizes that you use are down to personal preference, and there are lots of different options available.
4
Now that the vases are washed and dry we can start filling them. Firstly add a base layer of pearls to each vase. Now we add a floralyte on top of this base layer. The floralyte batteries should last for between 15 and 24 hours.
Now add some more pearls to the vase surrounding the floralyte. On the larger vases you may need to use two or three floralytes, to fully light up the vase.
5
Now that the cylinder vases are prepped, its time to start setting the display up on the table. Firstly place the mirror plate in the centre of the table. Again you may wish to wash the plate to clean off any residue that may be left by the packaging materials.
In this display I have used a 40cm plate, however you should adjust the size in relation to the sizes of the cylinder vases that you picked earlier. Once the plate is down, place the cylinders on top. They should be just touching each other.
6
At the base of each join of the cylinder vases, I have placed a foam rose. The foam roses come on a green wire stem. Here I have folded the stem up and stuck it between the vases. This holds the roses in place. I have used three foam roses in total. The colour of the rose can be changed to match your colour scheme.
7
With the roses now in place you can now wrap the ivy garland around the vases. I have not used anything to fix it in place, just hung it over the top of the vase, and wrapped it around the display in a circular motion. If stability is an issue you can use a small piece of double sided tape to tack the garland into place.

Almost finished now. The final step is to sprinkle rose petals around the display and the rest of the table. I have used cream rose petals, to match the cream foam roses used earlier.
