SummaryAn easy to follow guide to creating a vintage style birdcage centrepiece. We've used pretty blues and greens but this guide can easily be adapted to suit your colour theme. We've also put together some matching favour boxes and lanterns.
Instructions:
1 | Firstly take your cage and open up the lid. Start by weaving a stem of lisianthus diagonally across the cage. |
2 | Attach pieces of silk flower around the shape you've made, tying securely with the ribbon or using florists tape. |
3 | Pull the tops off your hydrangea and place inside. Make sure you create a symmetrical design by twisting the cage as you go, you want your arrangement to look good from all angles. |
4 | Set your table with hessian and lace runner, then place your bid cage on top. Close the lid. |
5 | If you want a candle centrepiece, why not twist your silks around a cream lantern. We've matched out cage with pretty blue favour boxes tied with ribbon. |
