Planning a wedding can be a complex and time-consuming process, but with some careful planning and organisation, it can be a memorable and enjoyable experience. Here are some general steps to help you plan your dream wedding.
Set a Budget: Determine how much you want to spend on your wedding. This will help you prioritise expenses and avoid overspending.
Choose a Date: Decide on a date for your wedding, keeping in mind any important events or holidays that might conflict.
Determine the Guest List: Make a list of everyone you would like to invite and decide on an estimated number of guests.
Select a Venue: Choose a location for your ceremony and reception. Consider the size of the venue, the style of the wedding you want, and the location of the venue.
Decide on a theme: Botanical, rustic, classic, elegant, Hollywood Glamour, boho and just about anything you want! It is not uncommon to base your wedding on TV Shows and themes like Harry Potter or Star Wars!
Hire Suppliers: Find and hire a photographer, caterer, florist, DJ/band, and any other suppliers you will need for your wedding.
Choose a Wedding Dress and Attire: Select the wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen attire.
Send Invitations: Send out save the dates and invitations to your guests, including any important details about the wedding day. Click here to shop wedding stationery.
Plan the Ceremony and Reception: Determine the order of events for the ceremony and reception, including the music, readings, speeches, and other special moments.
Finishing touches: Decide on what you would like at your wedding. Fancy a candy bar with delicious sweet treats? What about bunting and garlands? There are so many possibilities!
Arrange Transportation: Decide on transportation for the wedding party and guests, including the bridal wedding car, shuttles, buses, taxis or other options.
Remember to have fun with it all and enjoy the experience with your partner!
